Since 2014, HID has been investing on flat sheets production lines and so far operated 3 lines with full auto manipulation, making total output to 30, 000 square meters per day, well enhancing HID quality control from sheets to finished membrane elements and supplying worldwide. During 2019, HID expanded to two production bases, with a powerful mechanical design & development team full of advanced concepts. HID also invested the production line of spacers, O-ring and gasket to cover the complete membrane parts supply.

The RO membrane acts as a barrier to all dissolved salts and inorganic molecules, as well as organic molecules with a molecular weight greater than approximately 100. Water molecules, on the other hand, pass freely through the membrane creating a purified product stream. Rejection of dissolved salts is typically 95% to greater than 98%. The applications for RO are numerous and varied, and include desalination of sea water or brackish water for drinking purposes, wastewater recovery, food and beverage processing, biomedical separations, purification of home drinking water and industrial process water.
